What's nice about Siagon and Hanoi is that they have preserved the older parts of the city.

The slither of areas you covered in this video is nice. Most of the video is in an area made for the middle & upper class. Although Vietnam is coming up MOST OF IT DOES NOT look like those buildings in the beginning

Your country and overall city environment is admittedly better than the Philippines national capital region with a heavily Americanized culture since 1900s. You have this simple yet organized as well as modern shops, pavements, public markets, tree lined streets, lots of parks, roads, etc. Like the rest of ASEAN countries, you value and retain your cities character, culture, arts and design, especially the Tieng Viet language above (American) English in your gov't bldgs, documents, airports, seaports, public establishments compared with Philippines capitol bldgs, city halls, airports and documents like birth certificate, licences, shops, babies and products naming. Also, more tourists than Philippines heavily Americanized English speaking people. Shameless and almost no cultural identity, all for dumb hungry stomach and economics reasons. Congratulations Vietnam for surpassing Philippines economically and Militarily. Hope to visit SaPa, Hanoi and HCM soon.
